Light Moves Festival 2023 programme is live

A festival with discovery and exploration at the heart of it.

Light Moves Festival returns from 9-12 November in Limerick City. An Irish festival with a global reach, Light Moves hosts a unique blend of live performance, dance, film, music and digital art, showcasing the richness and diversity of work from artists in Ireland and across the world. Among the featured artists are Liz Roche Company, Barbara Ellison, Laura Murphy, Siobhan Davies, Bárbara Wagner & Benjamin de Burca, Áine Stapleton, Rosemary Lee and so many more.

The festival offers a host of free and ticketed events including seven live performances, a gallery exhibition featuring the work of 16 artists running until January 2024, 37 film screenings, and talks and workshops taking place in Dance Limerick, Limerick City Gallery of Art, Irish World Academy of Music & Dance at UL, Belltable, Arthur’s Quay Park and The People’s Park.

Light Moves Festival aims to bring thought-provoking, visually stunning, and impactful experiences to people in Limerick, the arts community, and audiences across Ireland and further afield.
