Dance Limerick is seeking a Project Producer to work on a part-time basis (2 days per week) on an 18-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Company and Operations Manager and ultimately the Director. This role will produce and coordinate the delivery of Square Roots, a community dance project working alongside artists, community groups, and partner organisations in Limerick. The project is funded by the Community Safety Fund from the Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration.
Dance Limerick believes that the arts have a responsibility to respond to the world as it is, not as we might wish it to be. We know that for many people, particularly those from communities who experience racism, marginalisation or exclusion, the feeling of safety in a public space is not a given. Square Roots exists in that reality. We are looking for people who understand this, who take it seriously, and who bring genuine commitment to creating spaces where everyone belongs.
The successful candidate will join a small, dedicated team at Dance Limerick and will play a key role in ensuring the project is planned and delivered to the highest standard, in co-operation with collaborative teams and stakeholders and inline with Dance Limerick artistic and strategic objectives.
The role is offered on a part-time basis of 2 days per week, based on a 39-hour week for 18 months. The salary is €33,000 pro rata. This role is based at Dance Limerick, John’s Square, Limerick City. The postholder will be required on-site in the context of the project. The role may require off site engagements in line with outreach and development activities.
Candidates are invited to submit their applications by email to Company and Operations Manager Catherine Ireton at catherine@dancelimerick.ie before Monday 11 May 2026, 5 pm GMT
