Tempo Rubato by Alexandre Iseli
Tempo Rubato is a new dance trio created by Alexandre Iseli in collaboration …
Dance artists Marion Cronin and Sarah Ryan will be showing a work in progress of their duet Pure Gold following their two week residency at Dance Limerick.
This piece draws inspiration from women’s embodied experiences within team sports. Marion has been researching how we build and sustain support and trust with another person and she has paired the mechanical workings of the body back to basics. They search for ways to support and be supported, learning when to yield and when to push to make things work.
A vital part of the percolate residency program is the opportunity to show the evolution of a piece with a live audience. This gives artists the chance to meet and engage with the local community and receive feedback.
The showing is open to all. We invite you to join us and enjoy the performance.
