We are excited to announce a 2-week set of Professional classes with Dance artist Fearghus Ó Conhcúir.

Fridays 27 January, 3 February | 12-1.30pm

Fearghus Ó Conchúir is one of our What Next 2023 artists. He is an independent choreographer and dance artist who works across different media, using film and live performances as frameworks for audiences and artists to build communities together.

After training at the London Contemporary Dance School he went on to create his own pieces and perform with companies such as Adventures in Motion Pictures, Catapult Dance Company, Ciotóg, Claire Russ Ensemble and Arc Dance Company.

From 2018-2020, he was Artistic Director of National Dance Company Wales. He is Deputy Chair of the Arts Council of Ireland. Fearghus is a founding Associate Artist at Project Arts Centre and gained his PhD at the Geography Department in NUI Maynooth.

At What Next 2023 he will be presenting the piece ‘Queer Sanctuary’ alongside Isabella Oberlander. This duo is part of an ongoing exploration of queer flourishing and solidarity. Isabella and Fearghus create a space for transformation, exchange and sparkle.
