Beginners Hip Hop
After the success of our first term of Hip Hop classes earlier this year, we are offering another 7-week term
Dance Limerick recently introduced a new intergenerational beginners Street Dance class. After the success of the first term, we are offering another seven-week course that will focus on the foundations, technique and body conditioning necessary for Street Dance.
The aim of these classes is to promote fun and fitness, deepen participants’ understanding of Street Dance terminology and culture and provide a sense of community. Our teachers will help you gain an understanding into the world of performance, cyphers and battles and there will be an opportunity for those who wish to develop this aspect of the culture and showcase their work.
These classes are open to all skill levels and abilities. No previous dance experience is required; simply come as you are.
(Underage participants’ parents/guardians will be asked to stay in the foyer while class is taking place).
This 7-week term will run on:
Tuesdays 10, 24 & 31 March and 7, 14, 21, 28 April – 7.30 to 8.30 pm *
*There will be no class the 17th of March as it’s a public holiday
*There will be an additional opportunity this term: you are invited to join Top8 workshops on Sunday 29 March at the Dance Limerick Studio (1-2 pm Hip Hop Class & 2-3pm Breaking Class).
