Open call to BIRCA’s residencies for 2022 with a focus on island identity, gender and nature.
Bækkelund International Residency Center for Artists is a work space for artists and artistic development placed in rural and inspiring surroundings on the Danish island Bornholm.
The three residency initiatives supported by the Statens Kunstfond are:
ISLAND CONNECT
BIRCA WOMEN
BIRCA KIDS
All travel, accommodation and food expenses are covered, in addition to which a fee of DKK 10,000 is paid to each group with 2-3 participants for the entire period.
