Contemporary dance artist Luke Brown will lead two professional classes during his residency at Dance Limerick.

Luke describes his class as “A physical class that works with the centre of gravity and the gentle stacking of limbs in order to roll, slide, fall and float; focusing on human contact, allowing the pouring of weight between two separate bodies; synchronising people to move as one”.
Luke will be in residence at Dance Limerick for two weeks to research a section of his new work-in-progress Princess. Challenging the idea of a fairytale “happy ever after”, Princess explores the humour and absurdity of romance, and the beauty and brutality of true love.
Luke was last seen in Limerick performing in the stunning Marble & Bread, created and choreographed by Megan Kennedy, produced by Dance Limerick and performed at The Sailors Home.
Professional classes take place at Dance Limerick Studio during residencies by visiting dance artists and are suitable for professional dancers and advanced level students.
