International Dance Day: Join our Nelken Line!
Sat 29 April | 11am-1.30pm | Meet at People’s Park (red bandstand)
To mark International Dance Day, we are inviting everyone to dance the Nelken Line through the streets of Limerick. One of the most famous dance sequences created by iconic German choreographer Pina Bausch, the Nelken Line describes the alternation of the four seasons – spring, summer, autumn, winter – in a few, easy to learn, repeated gestures, performed to Louis Armstrong’s West End Blues.
Join our Nelken Line! No dance experience required.
Comfortable shoes recommended.
