As a member of the Aerowaves network, we are excited to share with you the Aerowaves Twenty23 artists.
The 2023 line-up includes works from 16 countries and it showcases an exciting and diverse selection of emerging dance makers working across Europe.
This year, our very special congratulations goes to Irish choreographer Emma Martin from United Fall who was selected for her piece ‘Birdboy’
Emma Martin started her career as a ballet dancer and later started exploring contemporary dance. She creates works that often combine dance, live music, theatre and distinct visual universes, always with the raw expression of dance as it’s driving force.
In 2018 she established United Fall with producers Pádraig Heneghan and Peter Jordan. Previous works include Night Dances (Dublin Theatre Festival 2021) I AM IRELAND (RTÉ/ Culture Night 2020) and Orfeo ed Euridice (2018, co-production with Irish National Opera).
The Twenty23 artists will present their work at the Spring Forward Festival from 27 – 29 April 2023 in Dublin (Ireland).
