Dance Limerick, in collaboration with Junk Ensemble and the Limerick Women’s Collective, presents a new DL. Bridge creative project, The Cauldron.
A symbolic element, cauldrons have long been associated with spells, potions and magical powers. Taking the image of the cauldron as a vessel for transformation, a melting pot where disparate elements are mixed together to create something greater than the sum of their parts, we will come together to share movement, music, food and stories from our own cultures.
Connecting with a wide local community of women, the group will come together over four sessions to share views and stories and find the elements that unite us.
Dates: Sundays 14, 28 May & 11, 25 June | 10 – 11.30am
On our last session we will share all songs, movement, recipes and ideas from the previous weeks and show our findings with a group of family and friends that are invited to join us for this final event.
Participation is free – No upper age limit – No experience needed
