Step Up open pro classes
A chance for dance artists and students to gain insight into the Step Up world and train with some of the best artists working in Ireland today.
Following the success of previous years’ open classes, some of this year’s Step Up team and guest artists will be opening the doors of their morning classes to professional dancers and professional dance students.
The dates are the following:
IN THE IRISH WORLD ACADEMY:
Friday 3 July, 10-11.30 am – Kelly Keesing (Studio: UL IW2.25)
Tuesday 7 July, 10-11.30 am – Lucia Kickham (Studio: UL IW2.26)
Tuesday 14 July, 10-11.30 am – Lucia Kickham (Studio: UL IW2.26)
AT DANCE LIMERICK PERFORMANCE SPACE
Friday 10 July, 10-11.30 am – Jack Philp
Friday 17 July, 10-11.30 am – Justine Cooper
Tuesday 21 July, 10-11.30 am – Emily Terndrup
Friday 24 July, 10-11.30 am – Zoë Ashe-Browne
Tuesday 28 July, 10-11.30 am – Róisín Whelan
These classes are offered on a complimentary basis. Registration needed.
Step Up Dance Project is a partnership project between the Arts Council, Dance Limerick, the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance at the University of Limerick and Dance Ireland. Step Up’s participation in the placement programme is possible thanks to a partnership with Luail – Ireland’s National Dance Company.
