Schools Performance

Bill and Fred are two characters who struggle to embark on a journey. As they get ready to embark on a new adventure, they realise they’ve forgotten their backpacks. Confusion, conflict and misunderstanding ensue but as always Bill and Fred pull through. The show reflects on relationships, compromising, forgiveness and friendship.

Bill & Fred toured to four primary schools as part of WHAT NEXT dance festival 2022; Limerick Educate Together National School, Mungret, Limerick School Project, O’Connell Avenue, Shanaogolden National School, Co. Limerick, and Coolcappa National School, Co. Limerick. Over 110 students enjoyed the live dance performance.

About the artists

Elysia McMullen and Luisa Schmitz – an all-female clown duo, merging dance, clowning, circus and theatre. Both Elysia and Luisa trained in dance and choreography and have worked with many dance and circus companies. In 2020, they formed their own company Bill and Fred Productions.
