Rocío has created the pieces War (Faculty of Architecture of Porto 2018), and Mental Make-Up (co-created with Catarina Garcia, Teatro Campo Alegre 2018), and showed the work in progress of MANY MEs (Teatro Leal, Tenerife, 2022),  She is currently working on two new works, “It Lies Behind” and “Don’t Stop And You Won’t Notice”.

Rocío will be working on her piece MANY MEs. MANY MEs explores the constant search for the culmination of a rite of passage. It speaks about the death of a sister, the remaining wounds of a violent love relationship, and missing home. Rocío immerses herself in the ideas of mourning and uprooting, and investigates a space of no-time. In this space, the dancer is trapped in an attempt to conclude a rite of passage, in order to move on to a following step. MANY MEs is one of three productions in the series that the artist calls Steps Towards Myself, which includes works in different formats.

In MANY MEs, Rocío has the collaboration of music composer Ingrid Bocek, and visual artist Ross Ryder, who conceives hologram effects within the scene.
