Compass Artist in Residence for 2025, Alex Vostokova, is opening the studio on February 21st.
Compass Artist in Residence Alex Vostokova opens the studio to local artists of all disciplines for an open studio afternoon. This isn’t a led session but rather a space for free flowing discussion, sharing of practices, co-creating and community interaction.
Join us on Friday the 21st of February for an opportunity to meet other artists in the area, share your practice, discuss and create together.
ALEX VOSTOKOVA is a dance artist, emerging choreographer and director working across live performance, improvisation and film as well as teaching and facilitating in Ireland. Alex is driven by sociological concepts as well as surrealism, bridging the gap between emotive embodied practice and an interest in multidisciplinary collaboration.
