Isabella Oberländer and Fearghus Ó Conchúir in residence
Isabella and Fearghus will be continuing their research into Tearmann Aiteach / Queer Sanctuary, a choreographic process exploring how to make welcoming spaces of queer sanctuary that support flourishing solidarity and spritely sparkle.
Isabella Oberländer is a dance artist whose work focuses on the materiality of the body and aims for a visceral articulation of physicality and thought. Her choreography and performance practice have aligned her work with a range of queer and feminist art-making in Ireland.
Fearghus Ó Conchúir is an independent choreographer and dance artist who works across different media, using film and live performances as frameworks for audiences and artists to build communities together. Fearghus’ work has investigated the politics of gay experience in Ireland.
