A Sensory Journey through movement, drawing & audio stories – Relaxed Performance
Performances taking place on Thursday 21 November at Dance Limerick are suitable for …
INCLUSIVE DANCE CLUB is an inspiring creative dance project, led by DL.Bridge artist Katy Hewison, for young people aged 7-14yrs with a physical disability/learning difficulty. Involving inspirational workshops, an advisory group for family members & a supportive training program for a team of dance artists to deliver & learn together, it has run since 2023 to great success among participants and their families.
Inclusive Dance Club enables participants to learn new dance skills and gain a sense of belonging to a group. It is an opportunity for them to make new friends and meet new role models that understand and support their needs. All of this has proven to increase their self-esteem, confidence and team work skills, improving their physical and mental health.
The June summer camp runs on:
Wednesday 26 and Friday 28 June | 10.30 am – 12 pm | Dance Limerick Studio
Cost: 10€ for the two classes. If cost is a barrier to participation, please get in touch.
