Dance Limerick is proud to participate in Culture Night one more year with a triple bill of exciting dance and music events.

6pm The Golden Flood of Memory

An intergenerational cast of community performers will share excerpts from The Golden Flood of Memory, a DL. Bridge project originally commissioned by Bealtaine Festival 2023.

‘But there all the same’

Choreographed by Rachel Sheil | Performed by Limerick Youth Dance Company

On an alien planet, these citizens explore their new life. “I am finally free. I made my own choice, and based on my own ideals.” Ready to thrive, but a little battle-scarred… and tired… and worn, with their souls a little torn… but there all the same.

6:45pm Dance of Lights by Slavek Kwi

In this immersive experience by Slavek Kwi attendees are invited to create light with small torches, to join a party with live music, to watch, draw, dance and see the spontaneous light choreography.

8:30pm – 11:30pm Top 8 Street Dance Battle featuring NeuBri, STRANGEBOY and a variety of dance performances

Tobi Omoteso brings together an event which is a celebration of cultures, differences and similarities in the areas of Dance, Voice, Art and Music.
