FANTASTICAL DANCE MOVES
A series of lively workshops that offered children the opportunity to explore and create dance through participation in imaginative and fun movement activities. Designed to build children’s kinetic, cognitive and expressive awareness, the workshops encouraged a cross-curricular approach to learning by engaging with different themes/ideas that link with subjects such as Physical Education, Music, Drama, SPHE and Literacy.
Guided by a professional dance artist and working with each Class teacher, the children were invited to propose a topic or story of interest to encourage individual/group creativity, and inform the making and performance of their unique dance.
