Isabella Oberländer & Fearghus Ó Conchúir in residence

Percolate artist Isabella Oberländer and Fearghus Ó Conchúir will be in residence at Dance Limerick for two weeks

Percolate 2023 artist Isabella Oberländer will be in residence at Dance Limerick for two weeks with fellow performer Fearghus Ó Conchúir, as they put the final touches on their piece Tearmann Aiteach / Queer Sanctuary, which will be premiered at What Next festival in February.

This duet is part of an ongoing exploration of queer flourishing and solidarity. As a queer artist, Isabella aims to investigate new arrangements and interactions between dancers’ bodies beyond familiar patterns. The performance space becomes a place for care and attention -a sanctuary.

She has most recently worked with Philip Connaughton, Sara Shelton Man, Mary Nunan, Pietro Marullo a.o.
