Dance Limerick are delighted to bring you a series of Dance Burst Summer Camps during the summer break that cater for all ages. The camps run from Monday 1 to Friday 5 July 2019 between our beautiful studio and unique performance venues in John's Square in the heart of Limerick city.
About the facilitators
Celina Jaffe is a dance artist, choregrapher and teacher based in Limerick. She has performed at Limerick Fringe festival, Limerick Culture Night, Elemental Limerick Arts and Culture Festival, and was part of the Step Up Dance Project in 2017. Celina has recently been artist-in-residence at St.Joseph's national school and teaches contemporary dance for adults and modern dance for young people at Dance Limerick.
Olwyn Lyons is a choreographer, dance artist and community dance facilitator, who specialises in Contemporary and Urban Dance. She is a certified Dance for Parksinson's teacher (Dance for PD® USA, English National Ballet, U.K.) and is a qualified Zumba instructor. Most recently Olwyn was awarded funding from South Dublin County’s Cruinniú na nÓg 2019 to direct a children's show involving primary school children to be staged in the Civic Theatre, Tallaght (April – June 2019).
Rachel Sheil is a dance artist, teacher and choreographer based in Limerick City and a recent graduate of the MA in Contemporary Dance Performance, Irish World Academy. Rachel is experienced in contemporary dance and hip hop and is also influenced by K-Pop (Korean Pop) music and dance. She runs a popular Youtube channel called rikilikemagic where she shares her enthusiasm and energy for dance.

Through a combination of performance platforms, residency opportunities, master classes, talks and lectures, Dance Limerick will advocate for artistic dialogue and exchange. In collaboration with dance artists across a range of practices, Dance Limerick will promote the creation of new and innovative work and will devise programmes of access, engagement and participation for the wider public.
Based at the premises of the former Daghdha Dance Company, Dance Limerick houses offices and a fully equipped studio space along with a separate performance venue known as the Daghda Space
