High Kicks Virtual Watch Party

Since the beginning of April 2020, The High Kicks of Limerick (an ensemble of dance artists aged over 50yrs) met and danced virtually in our We’re Gonna Dance with Somebody project, led by choreographer Kristyn Fontanella.

When the yearly High Kicks performance project could not go ahead due to Covid-19 restrictions, Kristyn and the group decided to move online and virtually dance together. The project focused on staying connected through a love of dance, even during these difficult and challenging times. The group rehearsed together through video tutorials and online Zoom dance classes, learning a dance combination to Whitney Houston‘s I Wanna Dance with Somebody.
