A Deaf-Friendly Movement Workshop with Sophie Hutchinson and Louise Stern
Join Deaf visual artist and writer Louise Stern and dance artist Sophie Hutchinson for a relaxed creative movement workshop (ISL,BSL & Spoken Eng) exploring our connection to land and the natural world through movement, gesture, and words.
We will explore:
• How the body holds memory, place and belonging
• Gesture as a bridge between movement and language
• Landscapes that matter to us
Please bring:
• A stone or natural object
• A memory of a landscape important to you
Access: Open to everyone | ISL & BSL interpreters present. The space is also wheelchair accessible.
