Dance Limerick are thrilled to invite local dance artists to join us for 2 online Access Training sessions on Friday 4th October facilitated by Stopgap Dance Company.
In the workshops you will learn from experts in inclusive dance about key practices in dance performance and creation, including Accessibility for dance & performance with a brief introduction to Audio Description, and Easy Read & Visual Story Creation.
The training is provided as part of the Creating a Climate for Change in Limerick project, whose team you will join in the sessions. This knowledge gained will feed directly into the project enhancing the collaborative work between artists, researchers and community groups.

If you are interested in taking part, please email projects@dancelimerick.ie with your name and a brief description of why you would like to join. You can join one or both sessions, please specify in your email.
Suitable for Irish based dance and movement artists with and without disabilities, those who are currently working in inclusive dance, and those who are planning to work in this area.
