An interdisciplinary dance film project initiated by the Dutch Cultural Media Fund and the Performing Arts Fund NL in collaboration with the Dutch national broadcaster NTR and Cinedans.

A group of line dancers travel to Amsterdam in a tour bus to perform a flash mob in front of the Royal Palace at Dam Square.

Spiegelingen (Mirroring) (11'00")

A man flees from the clamour of a nameless, hectic street. He sneaks into an empty building, a deserted space where he is increasingly confronted with himself.

A police assault squad bursts into a church where refugees have found shelter but the raid turns out differently than planned when the team sheds the straitjacket of their actions and reconsiders what they have done.

Through a combination of performance platforms, residency opportunities, master classes, talks and lectures, Dance Limerick will advocate for artistic dialogue and exchange. In collaboration with dance artists across a range of practices, Dance Limerick will promote the creation of new and innovative work and will devise programmes of access, engagement and participation for the wider public.

Based at the premises of the former Daghdha Dance Company, Dance Limerick houses offices and a fully equipped studio space along with a separate performance venue known as the Daghda Space
